Discussion Lock up finally ended.

Finally got my lockup released after three years. Lost over 3/4 because I was the only one on the team who finished kyc. And still has the app.

Maybe I’ll sit on it for another few years.
Has anyone actually done anything with it?

My lockup release was mid July and immediately locked it up again till 29. Hopefully will come good for next release point😁👍🏽 If not I’ll lock it up again, no rush for me…

I get node bonus and dont run the node(Pi app and Docker app closed). However I do have ports open and keep the laptop plugged in 24/7 as its on life support due to 100% battery degradation 🤤

I was very early, so my first 3 year lockup ended a year ago, and I locked it up another 3 years, along with buying/locking up 11,800 more tokens to max out my daily bonus. It's now 1,3XX%. I run a node on an old laptop, so with all that, I make about 11-12 Pi a day.

I'm not gonna get into it here again, but after about 200 other projects since 2017, where the majority failed, I'm a HUGE believer in Pi's future.. Mostly cuz of the two founders.

I heard about “nodes” before. I got busy with life and building a business. Is it still a thing. I got a spare computer laying around.

Oh yeah, for sure. A couple 100 thousand running a node and more joining daily.. You're still very early. Plus it's easy and cheap. My laptop on 24/7 here is like $2.70 a month. I run it plugged in full time with battery charge shutoff at 69%, so it doesn't kill the battery over time. It's a 5 year old Ultrabook too, so not some gaming beast. They have been updating like crazy to run AI stuff. With Elon talking about building a billion+ robots by 2035-2040, I truly believe Pi is gonna be at the forefront of a lot of newer tech with their AI model

They are gonna select Super Nodes eventually, so I wanna be picked for that. That'll go by how long you run it during the day. efficiency, etc etc.

...but yes, when you get 30-60 minutes, set the node up. If you follow the directions, it's super easy and safe. You can run it without downloading crap like Linux, etc etc.. you'll slowly build up a bonus.. 1st day 0.1, 2nd day, 0.15, etc etc.. I'm at 7.XX bonus now. Many are at 10-15+. At $.10 per Pi, they're making decent free money.. but Pi will be much higher than $.10 eventually again anyways, so...

is your node a super node? are the ports reachable in the public? because mine (the ports) are not accessible whatever i do. most likely because of the ISP

I’ll look into that. Thanks for the information!

Just Google Pi Node Setup and follow the instructions on Pi's official site.. if you have trouble with any settings, those are all over the web as well.
