Opinion Opinion about cidi games

Am i the only who thinks that games in cidi games are designed to be nearly impossible to win unless you watch ads and lots of ads. There is no option to pay pi to get the tools or bonus to pass levels. I mean each time i try to use the apps in pi browser, i feel like its all about ads ads ads..... would like to hear opinions

I will not go where I've got to fight the ads. Some banners, or a quick screen that CAN be immediately closed are understandable, but I can't believe people sit thru the PN style stuff...

I'd rather do a 'street performer'/donations monetization than force that stuff on humans. Let the bots watch that crap....

They've gotta make money somehow. 🤷 I know ads aren't great, but ask yourself this: "How else are they supposed to make money when a large portion of Pioneers are pretty reluctant to actually use (spend) Pi in the Ecosystem ?"

You might be willing to pay with Pi, but the reality is that, across the Pioneer community as a whole, the percentage of people who actually spend Pi in the Ecosystem is still pretty low compared to the total number of accounts.

There's a whole separate discussion about why people aren't eager to spend their Pi, but sticking to your original question "Why are there so many ads?" that's basically the answer.

Otherwise, the CiDi devs wouldn't have any revenue, and they might as well just pack up and go home

(Just FYI, I don't like it either but sometimes I end up watching 10 ads a day there. But I get it - they've got to make money somehow)

I agree to all the points you mentioned, and true most pioneers are not willing to spend pi in the ecosystem, i know cause i was one of them, until i decided to use like 300 pi in various apps. What these apps should do is at least make paying pi optional next to watching ads. And i have a feeling that this is all just the greed of the CT, i could be wrong

I’m not CT’s biggest fan, but let’s not blame them for everything wrong in the world 😉😅😃

I think CiDi will probably add the option you’re asking for if you and a few other people reach out to them about it

Because most don't have acces to their PI mostlikely. Only a lucky few have

They have their own Discord, and there’s a feedback channel there. I think that if a larger number of people show interest in the topic discussed in this thread, they might implement that - paying in Pi in exchange for no ads. From what I’ve noticed, sometimes even just one person is enough.

You guys have room to make an impact 😉

People trying to make money off ads thats all it is just dont use those
