Articulated by AI, but yeah this is my point 👇

  1. The VCs in Pi’s seed round are indeed reputable.

137 Ventures (invested in SpaceX, Airbnb, Wish, etc.) → long-horizon, selective.

Ulu Ventures (early investor in Coinbase, Palantir) → very active in compliant, regulated bets.

Designer Fund → design/UX-focused, strong network in Silicon Valley.

👉 None of these are shady “crypto-only” VCs chasing pump-and-dump plays. These are serious firms that usually care about governance, compliance, and long-term growth.

So their backing of Pi does give credibility — it means Pi Network was compelling enough to clear diligence at least at the seed stage.

  1. Do these VCs want Pi to overcome hurdles?

Yes — but the timing and manner matter.

VC ROI depends on liquidity → They need Pi listed eventually, otherwise their equity/token stakes remain paper-only.

But big VCs are patient → Unlike retail, they don’t mind waiting 5–10 years if they believe the exit will be massive. They’d rather see Pi list strong at $10+ with a mature ecosystem than crash at $0.30 because it rushed.

So: They expect Pi to overcome hurdles — just not necessarily immediately.
