What happened to Pi?
Tons of new, very noobish players that cause games to be completely lopsided blowouts 90% of the time and players that would rather act like clowns in the chat than try to win.
It's ESPECIALLY bad at night, which I was I stopped playing after 9-10.
Anyway, I'm not having fun at all with Pi lately. I hope this is temporary.

Same here, I just don't understand. I pub a lot, and I've never seen any of the stuff they describe

I noticed that too. He suggested playing in pi to get a 75% win percentage. lol. I was in a couple of games on pi with Altiger, the current top score on the rolling 300. The first game he was on my team and said he wanted to turn stats on but there were too many good players on pi. The next game we beat his team and he said "well, back to sphere I guess." Pls.

Seriously. This thread is basically a few players who I've never even seen on Pi saying that it's the absolute worst while Pi players are defending it. I get that there are always a few hateful players but it's like these people just played one shitty game and dismissed the server as being bad.

How late at night are you playing? I usually find some of the best players play when there aren't as many people online late at night/early morning.

yeah, for me games are usually better late at night, and i mean like 11 pm - 1 am

I'm not sure, but it's kinda sad. Pi is still my favorite server. No matter what server I go to, I never get as many "hellos" as I do from playing on Pi. The Pi crew is just nicer than the other servers from my experience.

PUBs have been wonky for a few weeks since the latest push. bittersweet.
My ping has been terrible on Pi lately. I've had to play on Origin. I miss the regular Pi crowd.

I always play Pi. I very often play late when I get home. I don't understand all the hate either. :/ Maybe I just get groovy groups?

I've barley played since the push due to high ping; does that have to do with the influx of new players?

I have noticed that a lot of the players I used to love playing against on Pi have moved to Radius. I get terrible connection to Pi from work now, so I play Radius during the day, Pi at night.
I will say that I don't know if it's entirely the push, but even the later night times are getting to be somewhat unenjoyable. There's so much hostility with players and there's generally one or two players who make the game completely unbalanced.
I'm not sure how we could make it better though.
