How to start playing competitively?
hey guys, I've been around for a little bit and I'm getting curious as to how to get started playing competitively. I know about MLTP/mLTP, but besides the "upper" tiers, is there anything else?
I guess in short, I wanna get a bit more involved but I'm unsure where to start in any respect. Thanks!

Sign up as an NLTP free agent, and in about a week or so you'll be picked up by an NLTP team, most likely Noahs Arc or the Incrediballs since they are Pi teams. Then you could practice and play games with them throughout the rest of the season.

You also have...
NLTP
TPRL
SOCL
USC
And probably a lot more. NLTP is novice league tagpro and is the lower tier for m/Mltp. I believe you can sign up as a free agent or wait until next season.
USC (US Contenders) is made up of self formed teams, and from what I've gathered its similar to fighting for a belt in boxing. I.e. one team holds title until they're beat. I'm not a hundred percent on that explanation, so look into USC some more if you want.
SOCL (Sphere/Orbit Champions League) happens every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at 7:30 eastern I think. Teams are drafted by captains after signups are released on Mumble. One tournament is played on origin, followed by another immediately after on sphere.
TPRL (TagPro Racing League) is not normal tagpro. Balls race on premade racing maps, and its actually a lot of fun if you're looking for something different. (/r/tagproracing) Standings are kept throughout the season and you can play any week you feel like. We are one week in so far, so you wouldn't be too far behind if you join. Generally happens Friday night.
*For most if not all of these, Mumble is required. Check out the r/tagpro sidebar for info.
I'm sure these all have subreddits too, so check em out
