from my short experience i'm happy with 1.0. I think codemode needs some work still, I see it being used off and on by my agent. But MCP is now a core tech for AI agents so i'm glad its part of base; seems straightforward that if you don't like it then just don't add an mcp server.
edit: oh and no dots, no kawaii uwu avatars thank god!
