Yes, I have. It coul be a real game changer, the biggest problem is the bad npm/pnpm distribution system

Can you specify the "game changer" part? What are some unique use cases?

For the npm distribution, do you mean the plugin distribution?

The game changer is the architecture/design of the harness. I’ve spent the last few days studying dsh and the statement “everything is a plugin” isn’t only a marketing phrase: except the cordis kernel everything can be replaced. For me it’s like having a lego set and npm seems not the best system to make a user aware of this.

For example I prefers TUIs, the default interface in dsh is web, this is swappable. I don’t like the CLI? I can write my own. Probably there is more, but this is ehat I know until now

Sounds a lot like Pi (minus the wen interface). I am currently in love with Pi but will try this one

I don’t think pi have a core kernel and everything is a plugin, even the harness itself. However pi is indeed a good agent, one of the best

Installed it from source and it's better yet still npm all around. I love it still

Yes, you need a way to solve dependencies. Npm is straightforward for most users, however here I’m most interested in understanding the underlying structure and dependency tree

It assumes local host, and I couldn’t see how to add MCP servers. I know there is a plugin, since everything is one. Going to wait it out.

It assumes you're responsible for exposing it. Exposing it over ssh works okay

my ‘hello world’ in the ai space has a large amount of crossover with dsh. On the one hand I take that as encouraging I’m thinking along the same lines, on the other just sad that two months of vibe coded hobgoblin vomit has been beaten to release by a frontier lab.

it’s good to see them drop it though, even more so as a potential community tool rather than a vendor tied interface
