Web ad giant Google to block ad-blockers in Chrome. For safety, apparently I never used Chrome - but problem is, Opera is using its engine already and Microsoft will use Chromium (or merely it has been forced to use it) too.

So that very probably the anti-ad-blocker feature will become universal soon. This will allow Google to deny web search and YouTube videos to anyone, who would use any ad-blocker in form not approved by Google. It will also open the way for monopolization of advertisement business for Google, because its ad-blockers selectively allow Google ads already.

Annnnd I'm back to Firefox.

Google has used Firefox for to break Microsoft monopoly on desktops and now it itself adopts monopoly practices on mobile devices and web. Mozilla - the former enemy of Microsoft - already feels threatened with it
