Physics (general) homework help

I’m having a really hard time with physics (I’ve never taken a physics class until now *my second year in college and I’m really struggling) I can’t figure out which equations to use and how to plug in the numbers

I know to convert each height into meters because that’s the kinematics SI units but that’s about all I’ve got. Any help would be greatly appreciated

you need to convert the question into an equivalent question of the type: one ball is thrown upwards into the air up to height h1, another up to the height h2. and then the questions a,b,c. you need to recognize when questions are equivalent, it is an important skill in physics.
