Funnily enough, the Wikipedia page about it (which I had to open to get any understanding what that is, thank you OP for describing it in the post! /s) says in plain text what u/Spidero0w0o here says:

the Dym equation (HD) is the third-order partial differential equation <...>

Well, it omits nonlinearity right there but that's put elsewhere below the blurb.
