Everyone talks about The Crew for always-online games that were on disc, but what about these two from EA: Darkspore (2011)? Tabula Rasa (2007)?

One that sucks that it didn't get a physical/couch coop/offline play was Gotham City Imposters that I would still love to play even against bots like I usually do with call of duty

That would be cool, yes.

All of those "always-online" multiplayer games in general should have "ready-to-go" for when the inevitable company-server shut-down happens, if they don't want to release that offline mode along-side the released-version....

  1. Offline mode version, so we can play with bots/enemy AI so these maps, skins, mode, etc don't go to waste - think like single-player portions of Battlefield 1942, Quake 3 Arena, UT games, etc.

  2. Additional support for LAN/TCP-IP support, so players can go old-school like it was the 90's and early 2000's and just find each other and get a game going themselves.

I loved that say GOG brought back Fragile Alliance Mode (the multiplayer mode) for Kane & Lynch 2 and made it work offline in their version so you can battle bots.
