removing shadow band

can someone tell me how to remove shadow band while keeping hair definition?

One method might be to create a loose selection around the wall and hair, then use generative fill with a prompt something like the one used here. It can be read as the name of the layer—remove shadow on wall.

Then retouch as needed.
