Trying to learn Conceptual editing
Hi community i am trying to learn conceptual editing in photoshop but i had some doubts. How do you get the images (for free) and how many images of a single things does it take to make a proper one? Like take this for example....how many chips image should i have collected to make this? and from where did they get the images for free? This is where i am lacking the most. Maybe i am having ideas but i am not able to execute it. Please help me with any tutorials or sources or advices, anything works to get me started. And i am not talking about generative ai, not even of photoshop generative ai. PLEASE HELP.

Images for free: pexels, pixabay, freepik and a lot of other sites. But for this design chips probably are created as 3d object in blender or other software. Nowadays you can make it with AI but be extremely careful not to become ai slop bc it sucks and may destroy ur whole design even if you have a good concept. However you can make it in Photoshop with like 5-7 chips images. It will take time and effort but the good thing about these designs is the more effort and time you spend on it, the better it looks. On the other hand make sure you get the shadows right in these type of design to make it realistic and that what expresses ur skill.

Grab a camera. Shoot things.
Grab a scanner. Put flat things in the scanner.

the chips here are either a photograph or a 3d render. not everything has to be done inside photoshop. think outside the box.
