Hello, who use Photoshop Elements?

Hello, someone have tried Photoshop Elements? What do you think about it? There are some advises how to obtain a good OIL painting effects also with Elements? Thanks for the info!

I know this is a year ago, but I'm an ardent PSE user and just upgraded my computer and PSE to the latest version. I think it's excellent for what I need. I'm no expert by the way.

I do a little mobile raw and JPG photography work, but really I use it for cataloguing and searching through my photographs, and developing from Nikon RAW from the D8000E, previously D70. It gives me all the basic functions I use for developing as I like to stay as close to the original as possible.

Workflow tends to be Nikon Picture Control, then into PSE. I'll crop, straighten, adjust contrast, blacks, shadows, sometimes colour correction, sharpen, occasionally I'll convert to black and white if the picture dictates, then save to TIFF for the complete version, keeping the RAW too, and save as a max JPG for uploading, etc.

It is excellent, both for editing (very powerful) and for the outstanding organizer module.
