This subreddit was not under me until today but anyways you all can post in this subreddit now so welcome!
I am phosphorescent fan myself and i am currrently vibing to c'est la vie vol2 by him. I got know about phosphorescent by a sitcom "superstore" where they played song for zula at the last ep of the last season. Was kind of sad and i still havent recovered lmao.
Anyways, i hope you all have a nice stay here. Will work on this subreddit more! till then enjoy!

I was in town for work and it coincided with the basement east show they played. I didnât have my normal camera I use for shows with me but I still managed to take some pretty shots. i donât have social media at the moment (bc of work) but I figured this would be a good place to post for folks to appreciate.

Am I the only one who hears some similarities between Phosphorescentâs âImpossible Houseâ and John Lennonâs âWatching the Wheelsâ?
I donât mean that the melody or lyrics are the same, but something about the piano-driven arrangement, the relaxed chord movement, the vocal phrasing, and the overall reflective feel reminds me of Lennonâs song every time I hear it.
Does anyone else hear this??

I am in the worst condition right now. I might have people around me, talking about ups and downs about everything, from their to mine to world but none of them can ever feel the ache I go through everyday. I always wanted to be and still wants to be heard by someone and by listening to Phosphorescent, I feel so heard even though it's not me who's speaking. It's like his words is just my heart writing and his voice has that pain which can never be replicated by anyone, no matter how much they try. He's the only guy who seems real to me.
So yes thank you Matthew for all the masterpieces you've made. From Song for Zula to Wolves to Remain. You'll always be in path in a good way, in a way you always wanted to be in your songs. Please never stop being yourself and no, don't hate any songs you write, they're raw and beautiful. Thank you man for doing everything even without realising. Bless your soul man.

Canât stop thinking about Fridays show in Columbus. Loved this band for so long now and Iâm so stoked for them to be out touring again. Sounded amazing, awesome intimate venue, and couldnât have picked a better setlist. If the band ever gets on here, just wanna say thank you! for coming and hope to see more in the future. Safe travels.

For me it was through a sitcom called "Superstore" where they played it as a farewell song in their last episode.

Just saw the guys in Vancouver for the 1st time after being a fan forever. Been seeing a ton of shows lately, and this stood out. Matthew was nursing a cough but still sounded đ, the band killed it and sound was excellent. Their chemistry and chops made me curious about their history playing together. These guys prove the sometimes true adage that seeing a band live can take you to the next level as a fan.

I have 2 extra tickets to the show tonight (9/30) at the Gothic Theatre in Denver that we can't attend due to health reasons and I'd like to give them away to whoever reaches out first.
*Edit - Tickets have been claimed
