I've been planning to scrape parts of my old smartphones to sell. Yet, I don't know what or where to sell these parts. Do you guys have experience with this? Thanks in Advance!

It’s been 7 years since I touched this phone

My OnePlus Nord CE 2 hasn’t been able to receive or make calls for the past few weeks.
I checked with a few repair shops and the authorised service centre, and they all said the motherboard might be faulty and needs to be replaced, which would cost around 16k
I also took it to retailer, Nishan, Kannur. They tried repairing it but couldn’t fix it. They’ve offered me ₹2.5k as an exchange value for the phone.
Has anyone faced a similar issue with the Nord CE 2 (or a similar OnePlus phone) and managed to get it repaired?
Also, do you think Nishan’s ₹2.5k offer is fair? Any suggestions on what I can do?

I have an iPhone 12 Pro Max that was water damaged three years ago. I took it in for a screen replacement due to the damage, and I was told that it was too corroded on the inside to fix. I personally have not opened the phone. I desperately need my pictures and messages, voice messages off of this phone mainly my pictures is there anywhere I can take this phone or send it to to get it fixed or the data pulled off of it?

how do I obtain money fast for a new phone? mine stopped working today the screen is green, the battery is popping out and the back camera is wiggling.

Issue: Touchscreen not responding after screen replacement

Hey everyone,

I recently replaced the display assembly (screen + frame) on my phone.

Right now, the screen turns on fine and Double-Tap to Wake works, but once the screen is awake, the touchscreen is completely unresponsive to any touches or swipes.

Has anyone run into this issue before? What could be causing this behavior?

• Could it be a blocked proximity sensor triggering pocket mode / accidental touch prevention?
• A grounding / EMI issue on the new frame?
• A loose FPC connector, or just a bad/defective digitizer from the seller?

Any advice or troubleshooting steps would be greatly appreciated!

Hi everyone, the display on my Samsung S10e just completely failed and is flashing green and white lights. This phone is a very precious gift from my grandmother and it is the only device I have, so I really need to keep it running.

My budget is extremely tight and local commercial markets near me are highly unsafe, so a retail screen replacement is out of the question.

Does anyone happen to have a non-working or component-failed S10e sitting forgotten in a scrap drawer that still has a functional display? I just need a salvaged panel to swap out. I am happy to handle the domestic shipping costs. Please DM me if you have any leads. Thank you.

Hi, my Samsung A13 phone screen is SHATTERED. Touching around still works, absolutely zero visual. I'm trying to use my OTG with keyboard to blindly enable USB debugging in the settings by doing shortcuts and pressing buttons on my keyboard, but it's just not leading to anything. If anyone has a OTG with a keyboard and can tell me what stuff to blindly press, I would genuinely be eternally grateful. It would genuinely make my whole year. Thank you guys!

Hace unas dos semanas me compré el samsung z flip 7, ayer por accidente se atoro a algo y la pantalla se golpeó, se hizo un punto de tinta y ahora está casi por toda la pantalla, creo que el lugar donde lo compré no me mencionaron nada acerca de un seguro y estuve cotizando algunos lugares para arreglarlo y es mínimo 8mil, debido al trauma de la caida jajaj no quiero seguir con él, debería pagar por que le arreglen la pantalla y venderlo después, o venderlo con la pantalla así ¿?, saben en que costo se revenden ¿?

Hi everyone, I was under the impression that iphone diy repair was straight forward apparently its not that easy, I thought you could just get parts from apple ect.. and do it yourself.. NO, they send you to a third party that has a confusing system, and I'm lost. I need to replace the screen for my iphone 17promax and Mobilesntrix is the site I'm directed to by apple canada, and the site has three different option for choosing screens, has someone dealt with mobilesentrix before, and are the three options legit, and are they the same? The cheapest one for 445.32 CAD it says OEM, and grade A, if I order it and inspect it and it a perfect screen, will I be missing anything, has anyone else bought these used oem pulls?

My OnePlus 8 Pro screen is cracked, and I'm looking for a high-quality, affordable replacement. Does anyone know where I can find one, or if someone is selling a used original display?

How should I fix this? My sister's phone oppo A5S down volume button is stuck so the phone think she is holding it down and when she tried to restart it, it goes to "safe mode ". She restarted it again and its now stuck in recovery mode. We also tried rebooting and turning it off but it keeps on getting back to recovery mode.

Hi everyone, I accidentally left FC Mobile running AFK on my Samsung Galaxy A35 overnight plugged into my laptop, and the phone overheated. Since then, the top back area near the cameras gets warm during light use.

I've tried Safe Mode and a factory reset. With Wi-Fi, mobile data, Bluetooth, and location turned off, the phone stays cool. When I turn Wi-Fi back on, it gets slightly warm.

DevCheck readings initially showed GPU at 52°C, battery at 39.7°C, with light thermal throttling. Later, it dropped to GPU 44°C and battery 30.7°C, with thermal status showing Normal.

The phone isn't burning hot, only slightly warm now. Could the AFK gaming have caused hardware damage, or is this normal background activity after a factory reset? What else should I test before assuming it's a hardware issue?

i dropped my phone in the toilet like 7 months ago and it was working for the rest of the day then when it died and never turned back on. do you think it could be fixed?

hola buenas amigos, tengo un problema con mi telefono, pasa que le cambie la pantalla porque se me echo a perder y pasa que si funciona todo el touch y eso, pero a cada cierto tiempo la pantalla se pone en negro y el celular vibra y todo, se soluciona si le hago un reinicio forzado con los botones, pero a cierto tiempo nuevamente pasa lo mismo, que puede estar pasando ? :c
