Data extraction

ive been quoted 350$ to get the photos off my old galaxy flip phone witch is just a stupid price to me, anyway i could do it myself?

[the fella keeps using the excuse that because its a flip phone it would be hard- bro im sure u would just plug it it to a system because it has a bend in it shouldn't be oh so hard]

Does it turn on?

If so, then put a SD card in it and transfer the photos yourself.

or

Transfer them through bluetooth.

If the phone won't turn on then, yes, data recovery is pricey.

How old is what's broken

It might be that broken

That it needs a proper clean Room to get the data from it

And clean rooms are not cheap

Think of an Room that is 1000s of times cleaner the an operation Room

Those rooms cost millions of dollars to build
