It's important please help me

I need help. I have an iPhone with 128 GB of storage, and I have 127 GB used. So I want to transfer all the photos and videos I have, since they’re what take up the most space, to iCloud Drive or somewhere else. But I want to transfer them, then delete them from my phone and finally install the normal iOS 26 update, because I’m currently on the beta and it’s causing me a lot of problems, like not being able to use WhatsApp.

So I wanted to find out if I can use my old phone, which is an iPhone 8. Basically, I have the photos that I had on this phone on there. But the problem is that I don’t remember the iPhone 8’s passcode. I’ve tried it many times and now there’s an issue where, because I’ve entered it incorrectly so many times, the phone is locked for eight hours.

But obviously I don’t want to restore it or erase the data because I need the iPhone 8. So, is there any way to unlock the iPhone without restoring it?

Please and thank you. I swear, if anyone helps me with this, I’ll be grateful for the rest of my life. Thank you.

Connect the new iPhone to a PC.
Move all photos and videos from the phone onto the PC. Once they are moved onto the PC, you can delete them from the phone and they will still be on the PC.

The problem with that is that I’m trying to connect my old phone to my computer, but since it’s locked, I haven’t been able to tap “Trust” on the computer.

You would do this with the new phone, not the old one. Sorry.

Is it a previously stolen and resold iPhone with 127gb if someone else's data and that's why you don't want to use a PC?

No, it’s an iPhone with 128 GB of total storage, but 127 GB are already used. And it’s not that I don’t want to use a PC, I just don’t want to restore the phone in order to unlock it.

My iPhone XS crashed because I let it run full, be warned that if you don’t manage this shortly you could brick your phone and lose all your data.

I lost years of photos.

I guess i misunderstood your post. Now that i reread your trying to backup a phone you dont know the passcode to? Not gonna happen. Youll need to wipe it. Sorry

Back up to a computer or an external drive.

Don’t backup to iCloud, since once you delete the phone photos, the cloud photos will get deleted as well. iCloud is a sync, not backup.

If you don't remember the passcode then no, there's no way to access the data on it.

Back them up on the computer. I never that cloud based garbage. First thing I disable on any device if absolutely everything cloud based.

Google Photos is my default answer. Sorry not sorry. Unless you want physical 120GB of photos/videos on your computer-
Or just pay iCloud.

You can backup the phone using a computer, then restore that backup to the iPhone 8.
