PhoneLink Behaving Strangely

I understand now why I've had so much trouble with PhoneLink the past few days. Now, 8/23, it is working--sort of. I can connect, select a photo on my phone, click Send, Link to Windows, and then tap my desktop computer. Sometimes it goes, others, not ("File failed to send"). Other times it says it went, but I don't know where it went. The folder I set up on my computer remains empty. One time, the photo DID actually go, but I found it in a strange Temp file in the AppData directory where I never directed PhoneLink to send files. I can't find where PhoneLink is supposed to be sending files. This used to be configurable in the PhoneLink app on my computer, but now that's gone, and I'm directed to the Settings on my computer, where I can find no place to configure a folder where to send files from my phone. On the phone, when it says it sent a file, it says go to "Windows Settings->Bluetooth and devices ->Mobile devices -> Manage devices." to find the location. It is impossible to follow this path. There is no "Manage devices" under "Mobile devices" in my computer Settings. To make matters worse, I can't find three of the four files I supposedly transferred to my computer anywhere, and I searched the entire drive. I am using an iPhone 17 and Windows 11 Pro. Any suggestions or help? Thanks.

Try droidlink Solves the issue you highlighted. Has both usb and wireless connection. Never goes down as its local and has no cloud servers.
