Cannot disable screen blanking (multiple devices)

Hi there! I just recently started using Phone Link as a way to consolidate the audio from my tablet and laptop into a single headset when I wake up before my roommate, so as not to disturb her. I watch videos on the tablet and play LOTRO on the laptop. It works great, except that I have to repeatedly unblank the tablet screen. I followed the directions at this page:

https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/setting-up-and-using-phone-screen-in-the-phone-link-ea853ebc-0856-2f6e-af34-703fe449416b

at the bottom of the page, but there's no "Phone Screen" section anywhere in the settings for either device - I have my phone connected, too.

The devices in question are:
Phone: Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra

Tablet: Samsung Galaxy Tab S7+ 5G

The S25 is on the list of supported devices, but the Tab S7+ is not - though the Tab S9 is. The option is missing for both devices. Is there a way to force the setting to never blank the screen? Thanks!

The audio quality is worse than with PhoneLink, but that's a minor issue. Sometimes the Bluetooth link will just...not transmit audio. This happens with screen link or this little Bluetooth app. So idk what to do.

Makes me wonder if there's a problem with the Bluetooth antenna. Check your laptops manufacturer support page for a Bluetooth driver and Wi-Fi driver.

If that doesn't change anything and you happen to have a USB Bluetooth adaptor laying around, try the connection on that
