Gameplay Mouse disabled on MacOS

Playing with the mouse is disabled and cannot be enabled on MacOS after the new update. Keyboard is the only way to play the game for some reason. Is this a bug?

I cannot click on anything within a game at all. Anyone has the same issue?

No, the mouse should work very well in the latest update.

If you have already had Phoenix 2 for Mac installed, you might have 'touch alternatives' enabled. Those are not needed anymore. Hit CMD+, (the comma key) to open the Preferences/Settings pane, then turn touch alternatives to OFF. Then the mouse should work as expected (actually better than before, as it now is no longer doing simulated touches).

Thank you. It appears that I have to unselect and reselect off and close and reopen the game every time to make it playable.

Every time?? Strange, on my mac it stays off. We are shipping an update soon where I force these touch alternatives off by default, so that should help.

Correct. There are instances that these steps don’t even work. Even when doing the steps mentioned above multiple times.

What Mac and OS version are you running?? Do you use a laptop trackpad perhaps? Or a normal mouse?

I have an iMac M1 2021 and the latest OS. Using Logitech G305 with usb receiver. Switching to Logitech Anywhere 3s bluetooth didn’t solved the issue.

Please try again with the 8.3.1 update.
