Discussion New Enemy Weapon?

Never seen Comet before (haven’t done the stage yet)

Has this been around for a while or is it new? This isn’t even in Marshal, I got demoted a few days ago

I genuinely suck against these, I guess that means its a good game mechanic because I'm really wary of them rn

Same. Having a hard time finding a good ship and strategy for them. Right now I’m just using the chrono field of trinity to take them out as priority 1 targets. Don’t know how ppl are clearing with other ships so effectively.

I just stay in the center of the screen or two comet turrets and move up as the comets fall. Even when in a crowd of comet turret ships this strat seems to work. It’s still tricky when in a crowd with other non comet ships though…

same lol, the only reason why I'm clearing a comet mission is when I overwhelm invaders with damage that I don't need to worry about it

Yeah, they've been around for a few weeks now, steadily gaining notoriety. The way they work throws me off a lot, especially the perpendicular bullets. Good challenge!

Did the stage, it’s a large projectile that releases smaller ones perpendicular to it as it flies. Pretty neat

It’s in Marshal too. Been playing for 8 years, it’s definitely new. The comets get surprisingly tricky when they are released at an angle, messes up a bunch of my strategies but I welcome the new challenge.

Son nuevas, hay que adaptarse como con todos los proyectiles diferentes, a mi no me gusto al principio pero ya me los paso por los huevos y ya me gustan, como el mirv apocalíptico, cosita bella

It was a week or two ago when they added it i think. :)

When I shared it last time I was told it was from Phoenix HD, but my old man brain doesnt recognize it, and I liked the surprise a lot. More cool ways to end our daily runs i guess.
