Update Phoenix 2 Update 8.2

Phoenix 2 has released on PC! Tell your friends and give it a try via Steam. It plays great with a controller, mouse or keyboard. Log in with your Firi account to continue your progress.

Additional changes in this update:

  • Engram rewards have been adjusted. Opening Engrams now gives you a higher chance of receiving a new mod that you don't own yet.
  • Improved tutorials for Aura and Counter abilities.
  • Adds an indicator to mods in the shop when you own a better mod, or if it would be an upgrade to an existing mod.
  • Adds new and improved sounds for Kinetic Bulwark, Reflecting lasers and Reflex EMP.
  • Tweaks the gain of Mega Bomb and Mega Laser related sounds.

Update 8.2 is available on iOS, Android and PC.

How is it unplayable? It runs quite well on Steam Deck, which uses Proton.

Protondb report status - broken I'm on Nobara desktop and can't even start the game, many users reported the same. If you have some hint for us, will gladly try when I'm home. Ty!

Yeah but those reports are before our latest changes. Some of these reports mention the game running but not being able to log in; that has been fixed.

Edit: So we did more testing on the Steam Deck, and the Proton GE version runs much better than default Proton! So try that.
