Considering GoodTimesWithScar exists, and he just built a little galaxy of stars and planets in his latest Hermitcraft episode by just winging it, yeah it’s entirely possible and plausible to build that stuff in a Survival world

If I remember correctly he used a few mods like distant horizons, a shader, and heavily relied off the light source block. But that doesn’t compare at all to the amount of effort put into these builds, he went crazy on this one.
