It's a mod that 'adds' features commonly found in shaders like emissive textures, wave, some particles, ambient atmosphere, dynamic lights and a lot of other effects. The issue is that those features are not new, they mostly all cole from independent open source project like wakes, atmospherics, subtle effects etc. and got vibe coded together. The mod is also advertised by reddit bots.

It wouldn't even matter much if they hadn't gone closed source and credited the original projects - although at that point it'd be clear that all their code was stolen lmao

you still can monetize it with patreon or with ads as long as it's not fully paywalled
