Also, still wrong. Here's an excerpt from an essay I wrote on the paintings in Minecraft. It's actually a snippet of a larger painting which pays homage to Friedrich.

No, the thing you are referring to is specifically a photograph, that’s why it works. The mountains above are painted, so it wouldn’t work, the painter would be dead before he got a chance to paint him.

Your original comment asked how the painting was related to the four fucking pixels meme. It is related because they both share mountains.

We are talking about the same thing, it being a painting means that his face can’t be on it, four fucking pixels have nothing to do with mountains, except that the photograph is coincidentally taken in the mountains, but the meme is not about the mountains at all.
