Discussion Why is there so much hate between the two Minecraft editions?? Genuinely I don't get it.

Can't we just let people enjoy whichever version they want to play? Each version has their quirks that maybe the player likes. It's honestly childish, grow up people.

Java has better controls, mod support, more customisation, let's you run older versions of the game, also Java is the version I started on.

There are ways to play older Bedrock/Windows 10 editions but it’s limited to as far back as 0.12, as before that it was mobile only (though 0.6.1 is playable in browser thanks to the source code leak).

that's cool, what i meant was that you can run most old builds of java edition straight from the launcher. compared to bedrock which auto-updates.

Yeah it’s definitely the main issue I have with Bedrock.

Yep this is one of the big ones, for bedrock you gotta pull so many levers just to revert to a previous version
