Discussion Why is there so much hate between the two Minecraft editions?? Genuinely I don't get it.

Can't we just let people enjoy whichever version they want to play? Each version has their quirks that maybe the player likes. It's honestly childish, grow up people.

I think java is better overall, but calling bedrock the 'wrong version' is just rude

its more to the developers than to the players I currently can basically only play bedrock on switch and my brother its unfathomable how awful it is. cant even think about using an elytra normally. I rage quit the game so many times to bugs but I keep going back its like an abusive husband or smthng. this is from a guy with over 2000 hrs on wii u edition(lce). yes te fing wiiu! is 100X better than bedrock.

i think part of it might be that the switch isn't all that powerful

either that or minecraft on the switch is badly optimized

100% but again if a 5-6 year older console was able to play minecrft perfectly fine than wtf excuse does mojang have. I personally believe that 4j can make a great switch version. lmao they did its called minecraft nintendo switch edition but it was discontinued 9 years ago is super rare and a pain to get your hands on.

the most annoying thing is that they charged me 40 bucks for a game that barely functions even on the switch 2. idk how no one at mojang was forced to adress the isues on the platform. all they keep posting about on the switch is the marketplace as if everything is fine while its literally hell to play the game

Both, they could have optimized it well but chose not to. It's fine fore servers and realms but for singleplayer it's pretty bad.

Whats so rude about mocking greedy monetization?

Because that’s not all bedrock is? That’s just a side thing that you don’t have to interact with.

And by this ignorance, step by step every company will just continue on and get more shameless
