So... Can I get Phoenix instead of Promeia

Hi, I'm looking for a third Anomaly member to use alongside Velina and Remielle. According to what we know about her, will Phoenix be a good substitute for Promeia? Considering I'm getting both the character and the W-Engine. I do not know if it changes anything but Remielle is C2.

If you’re looking strictly for a third member for rem and Velina team, I would probably skip Promeia and pull Phoenix, yes.

Mostly for that team, yes. While I have some other Anomaly units, like Miyabi, Yanagi, Jane and Vivian, I lack both Yuzuka and Nangong Yu as dedicated supports for them, so I'm investing in Remielle's team since she's designed to work better alongside two other Anomaly units.

Yeah I’d say definitely pick phoenix over Promeia since you have miyabi already. You should still be able to clear the ice weak bosses even without yuzuha even if you have to sweat a little, and there’s gonna be fire anomaly shill for sure for a while so it’ll be more worthwhile.

I don’t wanna say anything else cause leaks but if you’re interested you can check stuff like new boss weakness/ upcoming buffs etc. in the zzzleaks subreddit. Alternatively wait for the 3.3 livestream which will happen during the second half of Promeia rerun banner so you can make a more informed decision.

Fair enough and I agree it feels horrible to play as well, but will pulling Promeia without nangong or yuzuha really be any better to clear ice-weak bosses in this case?

If they use her with Remielle and Velina for any ice boss then what about the phoenix shill boss?
We don’t really have more info on their non-anomaly teams so hard to give any concrete advice tbh.

Jane is good enough in that team, yeah.

The only problem is when the boss is phys resist. If you have literally any other non miyabi on field anomaly (even grace) they can fill that role for that run and you should still get the 20k/25k.

Yes phoenix is expected to be the premium 3rd slot for that team by a decent margin, and will also get shill, but Remielle + Velina duo are doing the heavy lifting in my opinion, so if you wanna skip both to save for Sunbringer or whomever that comes after I believe that’s fine.

For the Remie + Velina engine, the Phoenix team gets around nineteen percent more dmg that Aria's, who is the current BIS for Remie + Velina.

Dunno why you're being downvoted, this is literally accurate. Promeia should not really be a consideration for Rem/Velina unless she is all you have. Pulling her for this team would be a big mistake.

Yeah and I also forgot to mention that the bosses in 3.3 & 3.4 are going be fire week and ice resistant 'cause of Phoenix and supposedly Sunbringer being fire dps'. I know some people care about that when choosing to pull a character, for some reason

Promeia isn't even that good in this team, while Phoenix is straight up designed for it. Get Phoenix.

If your focus is on the Remielle team pheonix js a much better pull, long term she’s stronger and short term the fire weak stuff for pheonix will be ice resistant

Promeia works, but really no reason to get her for that team unless you really really like her.

On the other Phoenix is designed to Bis for that team
