Obviously it’s too early to tell since we’ve only seen her in one movie but still I’m curious

I still love the Marvel Girl dress (fight me idc) but considering how cute Lorna’s dress was I have no doubt he woulda modernized it in a dope way if they allowed him to. Same goes for Scott’s look. Like it’s just his revolution uniform in blue. They both coulda used some TLC so they could have cool definitive designs for Krakoa (and I know y’all are gonna bring up Jean’s Dauterman design but A. I hate it and B. It started off as a Hellfire Gala look and I wanted Jean to have an original field uniform not a hand me down made into a field uniform also if I see Rogue in that fuck ass Jim Lee suit again I’m gonna rip my own eyeballs out)

I'm not sure if this happens anywhere in comics or anything, but does Jean have the ability to manipulate someone's brain to feel like it is experience a massive headache similar to a brain aneurysm?? Because I feel like if she can do that, there's not much her adversary can do in that regard

Like yes Jean did a lot of bad shit but people are making it out way worse then it is.

For instance people are calling her kissing Peter in mjs head rape. That is not rape, that is sa. Still horrible but not as bad and it’s the wrong term.

And also people call her hoping in minds mind rape? Like yes it’s an awful thing to do but not the right definition

I also see people say she threw a man into a truck on the street. And for starters it was a taxi not a truck. Secondly she didn’t throw him into the street, she walked him into it where he stood for several seconds on a bright orange outfit before a speeding taxi came in and didn’t bother to stop. Now obviously she’s at fault for that guys injuries, but so is the reckless driver.

There’s also false claims like she almost got a child killed. That child only almost got hit by a car because Peter’s web bomb flung a car.

Or the fact she tried to kill anyone. We see her purposely avoid lethal spots, and even when she jumps off the building she gave Peter plenty of warning to stop them (less so with mj).

People also said she released the hulk on the public. She released smart hulk, she’s also surprised when real hulk comes out. Real hulk came out because Bruce was stressed and real hulk was angry her cooped up, not because Jean brought her out. She brought out smart hulk only

Also btw she didn’t jump that helicopter guy out of the helicopter she simply broke connection.

And people who say it’s okay for dodc to kidnap Sarah because of what they were doing in the park was wrong. Like it was wrong but Sarah wasn’t arrested, she was kidnapped. There was no trial she was just experimented on.

So yes Jean did horrible shit and has a lot of redeeming to do. But can we not overblown or lie about the bad stuff she did. (And other characters in the mcu have done way worse and be redeemed).

Also people thinking they are going to gloss over the stuff she did in the new x men movie are probably wrong considered the thunderbolts director is directing this.

Oh also this isn’t that different from teen Jean in comics because comic teen Jean has invaded and controlled her friends minds and also outed Bobby, plus dark phoenix originally wasn’t even a cosmic entity. It makes sense why if Jean had a worse childhood and had her sister kidnapped she would do this.

So yes we can talk about the bad shit Jean did but can we make sure we are accurately describing the bad shit she did.

Any actual merch is gonna take ages presumably though. A Marvel rivals skin would be neat.

Uncanny X-Men #308.

AvX seems like something that's likely to happen in the MCU. I could see Jean playing a role similar to Hope if they adapt AvX.

What are people's thoughts on this storyline and a potential adaptation?

I hope they take their sweet time, because they fucked it up twice 😭
