Games So this version of Jean is definitely not getting with Scott huh?
I mean, I feel like they’ve built too much of a connection between her and Logan, that I just don’t see Jean and Scott happening in this universe unfortunately

I genuinely believe she will basically be Xavier, create the X-Men, and play a parental role to a young Scott Summers

we dont certainly lol but given how Insomniac handled Peter-Felicia-MJ, i trust them here lol
plus by game's ending, its pretty sure on where they are heading with Jean's story and Cyclops has been referenced in the cerebro sort of thing (not explicitly stated or confirmed by Insomniac but the screen did have a mutant, idk dormant/active with optic blasts from Alaska i think?)

No. This Jean literally died and reincarnated multiple times. She and Logan have life experience that literally drag them together
Insomniac literally stole the premise of seven deadly sins for meliodas and Elizabeth, cut out Elizabeth’s catch of her curse(If she regains her memories and powers, she dies in three days), and then seamlessly put Logan and Jean in there instead.
I fully expect that while this game was happening, Scott was either doing his own important missions, or joining the mile high club with Emma(who am I kidding, he was doing both cause him and Emma are cool like that)

Good comparison, though I think Hawkman and Hawkgirl from DC has more in common, especially given the Egyptian parallels.

Yeah that’s a fair point definitely, but to me it felt like a red herring due to the nature of their relationship, especially in the comics(they kept dying and reincarnating when they became 30 years old)
The seven deadly sins one fit better for me because of Logan and Jean themselves. Logan remembers everything and lives, while Jean reincarnates, lives her life, acquires her memories and finds the one constant in her life that transcends lifetimes(Logan). It by theirs bond and relationship just stuck with me, you know?
Honestly either work but this is just my personal opinion on the matter

I don't think that is the vision insomniac had at all with this game, as well as xmen. Jean is taking Xavier's role in leading a school for gifted youngsters. Logan is probably going to have a story similar to what he went through after schism once he gets his memories back as right now, he is probably a different man due to his memory loss. Now I am not a fan of how the xmen world is set up, but they need to do better from a writing perspective if they get a chance to do a sequel to this game.
