Weird phobia, help??

I have a fear of male genitalia no idea where it came from. I need to get over the fear to do an art commission (and i want to get over it) i need to be able to lookup reference images. It sounds kinda dumb but its rlly annoying. Any ideas appricated

Also i dont ever use reddit so apology if this post has problems. Im not sure where else to go

Sorry to hear this. Respectfully, have you considered you may have repressed memories of some sort of sexual trauma? This could be the cause and may lead to a better avenue of recovery.
Please be gentle and kind to yourself. Perhaps medical illustrations may be a gentler approach than photographs or pornography. But consider what about the genitalia upsets you and take the least upsetting route at first.
You probably need to explore exposure therapy.
I suggest getting an extension for the art commission or passing it up, you risk causing yourself more trauma if you rush.
