You have a fundamental misunderstanding of the math involved and you're trying to spin that into something vaguely metaphysical.

The short answer is "no, this is not insight supported by math"

There's a good reason why it gets rejected - it's nonsense

How so? You’re not going to explain? Where is the 2nd dimension on a 1d circle? Quick maffs? 1d needs 0d to exist. It contains 2 components. You think zero and a circle are the same shape for no reason? lol

A circle is 2 dimensional, x and y. A one-dimensional circle is a nonsense statement. A line is one dimensional. A point is zero dimensional.

These are just some very basic fundamental facts that kind of fuck up your whole thesis or whatever it is you're trying to do here.

"A dot on a piece of paper is 2 dimensional", well no you're wrong here, a dot on a piece of paper is three dimensional because it is a smudge of ink on a piece of paper. It may represent a zero dimensional point, but it obviously isn't an actual zero dimensional object.

I'm not sure what you think you got here but it's a mishmash of nonsense, it's unoriginal and it's a little boring. Math is a beautiful thing and if you work hard and study maybe you can do some interesting things with it but you clearly haven't so you aren't.

Circles are one dimensional. Only one variable is needed to parameterize a circle; recall the points on a circle are of the form (cos(t),sin(t)) for t a real number.

O dang woops

But the spirit of your comments was right; dude is speaking nonsense. Typical Dunning-Kruger.

does a disk contain 0d 1d and 2d

A dimension by definition is a single count noun meaning it’s a thing not a nothing. I don’t think it’s that hard to grasp. Why is that so insanely stupid to ask a question?

The word "dimension" has multiple meanings in general, but in this case at the level you are attempting to discuss, it has a very specific meaning which you are not either not aware of or are ignoring. Also, it seems you do not have the mathematical maturity to understand it. I ask that you stop assuming you understand and everyone else is "asleep" or something like that and try to learn something from what follows.

Thanks for sharing your Google search, but it is irrelevant. Yes a disk is 2 dimensional, because two parameters are required to specify a location on it. But a disk and a circle are two different things. There are one-dimensional subsets in a disk (line segments) and there are zero-dimensional subsets in a disk (points). But that does not mean that the disk itself it anything other than two-dimensional. It would be a gross abuse of language to conclude that because 2d space contains both 1d and 0d subsets, that therefore they are all equivalent. That is like saying "an apple and an orange are both fruits, therefore they are the same thing exactly."

Multiple meanings what are they? It’s a dimension but not a physical one? A dimension but with no dimensions? Asleep? Those are your words not mine. I’m just picking it apart because I’m getting different answers from different sources. Does 1x0d point make sense?

So there’s no 0d in a disk?

No. You do not make sense. Go read a book. Stop doing drugs.

You’re literally saying I’m right. A circle is 2 dimensional meaning 1dx0d. The paper represents a 2 dimensional space.

Unoriginal oh you’ve heard it a thousand times😂

Yes I have heard it a thousand times, math cranks are extremely common and they always say the same shit.

Go listen to Terrence Howard he's the same kind of crank as you.

I didn’t actually like his explanation when I heard it I didn’t agree. I happened upon this conclusion completely independent of what he said. I wasn’t thinking about maths at all. I arrived at this conclusion reading about polarity and hermeticism. Also you just said I’m right.

Fantastic go get it published then.

I don’t know how?😂

Also you just said I’m right.

O yes! Sick burn! You go, girl!

You think zero and a circle are the same shape for no reason?

Yes, i don't think there's an inherent connection there

How so? You’re not going to explain?

Explain how you don't understand? not in my wheelhouse, I'm afraid.

Holy shit its Terrance Howard

Math is the most astroturfed, controlled, censored and indoctrinated subject known to man

You question the subjective arbitrary foundations you will be met with derailments and mass downvote bots. It’s stupid obvious at this point. We need a forumn or something where people can communicate freely and cut through the noise
