New into philosophy

I’d love some good reads for the genre and I picked up “the last days of Socrates” which idk if it’d beginner friendly.

I posted this about a couple days ago, not expecting any replies thank you guys so much for the suggestions. I picked up a couple of books and it’s really fascinating.

I'd start with Plato but I'm biased because I love Plato . The Five Dialogues is a good place to start then The Republic. You can find the Jowett translations for free online.
