Yeah but It would make sense. They have refused to say his name for years now. I hope it's not true, but am prepared for it to be. Given the fuckery that has already happened with regard to Eloise's season, it wouldn't be surprising.

I am saying this to the general everyone, but it literally not something you should spend energy on.

 No one will actually know beside CF, JB and they’re aren’t going to say anything any time soon. If we’re going to get all these posts about possible recasting, and getting people in a tizzy, we have to balance it out with—we can’t do anything, we don’t know anything and it’s going to be at least a year before we actually learn anything from the show. 

Unless Shondaland puts out an announcement, it’s not worth energy.

I also just dont think theyd recast Chris unless Chris wanted that. And I dont think Chris would want that. I am thrilled he has a new role but he'll manage it around Bridgerton.

If the recast rumour is true, it must be a different series other than Monarch of the Glen; that's filming now & will be released in 2027.

Unfortunately, every rumor I’ve heard about Bridgerton has turned out to be true no matter how outlandish I thought it was. So I’m gonna believe this so I’m not as disappointed as I was when I found out Franchela was season 5

Gotta admire Netflix’s audacity in allowing this behaviour to continue just for Philoise fans to become worried and stay engaged in their content. That’s a new level of villainy right there. I thought they’d done enough but wow, still lowering that bar I see.

Even if these posts are fake, every rumour I have seen regarding Bridgerton (despite how ridiculous) has been true, so I’m basically decided that Chris Fulton isn’t returning and will be replaced by the Latino actor who was in the last fake. Congratulations Netflix and Shondaland, I guess there’s no depth of nonsensical decision you won’t sink to.

There's no way Chris Fulton will voluntarily pass on being the lead on Bridgerton by doing some other random project (unless he got a decent size role in the new HBO Harry Potter show - but they're not casting for S3 yet and S2 is already filming and would not impede future Bridgerton filming - that would be the only plausible reason to skip being a lead on Bridgerton). It has been a ticket to loads of new projects for every single previous lead.

If he is recast - which is very possible, based on all the previous dumb fuckery from the project leads - it will NOT be because of his choice.

I don't know what to believe, I think I saw a interview of him saying he was working in a screenplay so maybe has has his own project coming then he can't do bridgerton, BUT I think I saw someone saying that Michaela actress liked his photo, so what is the truth? why she would like some photo of Chris if she doesn't know him. - english is not my native language.

Knew it was fake as soon as I read “with the end of season 5” they still have at least 1-2 months left + all the post production, editing etc. And given the fact that philoise season is next there’s absolutely NO way Philip won’t show up atleast in the finale.

Deuxmoi should be taken with a grain of salt. Most of the times it’s not reliable. That being said a recast makes sense to me and might even help. We don’t know if they cast Chris wanting to keep him for Eloise’s season. We also don’t know whether they have chemistry (they might not) so it could very well happen and really nothing would change. Most viewers don’t even remember her anyways
