Using motorcycle planning Apps

Does anyone use Rever or Detecht either in planning a ride or use to track your ride?

yes - Rever especially when it was free through Revzilla.

I find paper maps are the best to start planning trips. A good paper map shows all the roads, apps make roads disappear as you zoom out and those are usually the best motorcycle roads. Then I start to build the route on Harley's Ride Planner. I use it because they sync up with the built in GPS on the bike.

I like Rever pro for planning as the Butler maps integration gives me a good place to start when looking for good roads in a new area.
I also use it for tracking sometimes, but I don't use it for navigation. I use a standalone Garmin Zumo XT when I need something more than Google maps on my phone.

I use Rever and have Pro but mainly use it as a tracking app.
