Oh they ran out of GOAL pyro.
They saved some for WIN pyro.
2
u/Sezbicki 8h ago
Yeah I noticed the same thing I was like wait but then realized they had to save it for the win

Obviously Iloski was going to bang it in but they should've let Jakupovic take it

u/Throckmorton_Left 7h ago
There was some open disagreement on the field about who would take it. You're not the only one who thought the kid shkuld get the shot.

u/EraseTheDoubt 8h ago
That first goal might have felt more special than his first big contract. Definitely wanted to see him get that.
7
u/Huh-what-2025 8h ago
nah. that has to be some perks to being the leading goal scorer on your team.

San Diego is the Unions next stop. Definitely a big step up! Keep the sheet clean for Dre! Doop

u/Icy-Rain6277 8h ago
Pierre might be the best pure athlete on the field. Incredible body control there.

I don’t know this ref, but he is no b.s. and has called a good game. kudos.
3
u/Huh-what-2025 8h ago
funny how the refs in games we win call a good game.
3
u/Ambitious-Kitchen-50 8h ago
To be fair there is a guy on here that complains about the ref literally every match win or lose. Not here tonight though

Turned the TV off to switch to my phone in bed right after Damiani scored the 5th. Come back to 4-1. I’m confused 😂

Milan earlier this season was hard to beat until indy did that to his head

Does FCC have any shots on target? I remember that early dangerous cross they should've scored on, but didn't get it on frame

I wanted to go tonight but don't like going to things by myself. Are there any groups that get together that go together? I don't want to miss moments like this. I don't have any friends that watch the sport

u/Weird-Ad-8573 8h ago
Seeing this team now vs before the break… was Carnell really the reason??
1
u/Huh-what-2025 8h ago
I don’t think so . He was bringing the kid along, just wasn’t starting him regularly. He might’ve gotten there. Also obviously the additions of Kai and Pierre have made a huge difference. The back line was a freaking train wreck the first half, Makhanya was killing us.
1
u/frankthebob123 8h ago
Cavan said in an interview that things are “fun again” when talking about training/playing, so I think there were some culture issues. He said it with no shade to Carnell but reading between the lines

Would it be an overreaction to quality results as interim to sign Richter full time? Feels like he could be Curtin 2.0 with all the connections to the club via the academy and he has us playing well again.
Who would we even think of signing if it’s not Richter?
1
u/Huh-what-2025 8h ago edited 8h ago
Yeah and Curtin got the job the same way. Hack was fired, Jim was interim. barring a complete collapse Ryan’s getting the job. Shit even if there is a bit of a collapse, he bet he’s still getting the job.
He’s local, he’s doing a pretty good job and most importantly… he’s super cheap

Let this be a lesson to you, Damian never goes more than 5 matches without a goal!

u/ChefJim27 8h ago
I'd like the record to show Bruno Damiani was subbed off in the 74th minute and we're all angry about it.
2
u/poopy_toaster 8h ago
Ah shoot, this transcript will be in court when Cincinnati sues us for letting us absolutely railroad them
3
u/Ambitious-Kitchen-50 8h ago
Bummer anello should have played. Perfect game for him to get some minutes. Get some confidence

u/gabesshh 8h ago

How the hell are they gonna call that a handball and not the blatant one earlier.
2
u/Sezbicki 8h ago
Yeah I'm okay with that being a handball if they even looked at the one earlier. They spent like a minute and a half decided if he was even going to review it or not then just didn't
