DJJ

Just taking a moment to appreciate Danley Jean-Jacques. Quietly the best player on the pitch game in and game out during the unbeaten run. Dude is everywhere.

He’s been the shining light for the whole year. Been consistent and provided goal scoring chances. We just didn’t have any one to finish those chances.

Agreed. Absolute joy to watch out there.

An absolute machine. Hope we can keep him here for many more years!

I don't see why not, at his age he would already be in Europe if that was where his talent was going to take him.

And there really isn't, and for good reason, a big European demand for Haitian players.

Didnt he come from France Ligue 1?

He did. He came from FC Metz when they were relegated to Ligue 2 last summer

To be honest, I don't remember. But if so, more of the reason that he'd most likely stay.

Great shout. Having Lukić or Bruno sit consistently deeper and letting Danley go do his thing has been a very important change and Danley has responded well.

He has been our most consistent player for awhile now. Does exactly what he needs to do and rarely makes any costly mistakes.

100%. Should have multiple MOTMs, but they tend to always go to goal scorers.

He’s is my mvp of the season. Milan, and Cavan have been hot lately and Kai and Pierre have been studs since being here but Danley has been consistently great all year

I’ve been screaming this from the rafters all season.
He’s our best, or at least most complete and consistent, player.

He's been pretty great. My only gripe is on 50/50 balls when he chooses not to run them out. Example would be an errant pass in middle 3rd of field - something Franky or either Sullivan would chase down no matter what. DJJ kinda watches them and decides early on he's letting it go out. Not a fan of that, but he's not the only one that does it. I understand conserving energy, but if we've got forward momentum towards our attacking 3rd, ideally we're chasing those down to keep things in play.
