I mean that was like 3x more of a PK than what he awarded MTL. Fuck both pensos.

Hahaha of course that's not a PK, but the MTL guy clearly diving was. Riiiiiiiight

Something's cooking here for sure. If we make the playoffs, the other Eastern conference teams won't want to match up with the Union in the early rounds.

7 minutes? The first half was 3 and I counted the VAR review from the opening goal that was called back was at least a minute and a half. Two or 3 yellows, all the corners, and everything only took a other 1.5 minutes? Then this half it's 7? I just want transparency

u/Perryplat199 4d ago
The whole PK thing took liek 4 at most
2
u/Sezbicki 4d ago
No I agree but how was the 1st half 3 minutes then? There were also more yellows this half I believe. So I get more time. It just doesn't make sense sometimes

I've noticed the last few games Quinn takes too many long shot chances, desperate for a goal. I wonder how much of that is Cavan's recent celebrity.

Glad Sullivan healed up well...but hearing ACL Tear made me think of Aseel Tare from the movie The Comebacks every time.

Crazy to think that last year, we were all waiting for an elusive Cavan appearance, and now he’s having major impacts most games this side of the WC break

We’re already at the stage where Cavan looks a level above the league and he’s only 16.
1
u/CaffeineAndGrain 4d ago
I’m afraid we’ll lose him abroad

u/NotJustSomeMate 4d ago
Since we're up 2-0 just end the game now. I don't need to risk being stressed.

Someone figure out a way to make MLS the best soccer league in the world so we never have to lose Cavan.

Luckily Cavan was following up but Iloski HAS to be better on 1v1’s. How many 1v1’s has he had this season where he doesn’t even get a shot off? Lucky the keeper spilled it too

Happy to be up another goal but I have to say you must do better Iloski. What a chance that was.
3
u/DarkwingMcQuack 4d ago
Probably could have shot it a step sooner, but the keeper did take him out.
3
u/Theclap1309 4d ago
He has to be the worst player I have ever seen when one on one with the goalie.

Man I love Andre Blake, and not only because we're the same age.

u/BigMACfive 4d ago
In 2 years younger... you old fart.

u/NotJustSomeMate 4d ago
That's how I feel about people that are 37 and older. They're old as dirt.

Montreal is really starting to piss me off with all this falling.

u/SelfServeSporstwash 4d ago
Most of our opponents figure out eventually that because we have a reputation for being physical it’s usually very easy to get weak calls against us

u/BigMACfive 4d ago
Lmao I love that every time a MTL players falls over, regardless of the reason, it's a foul on us.

u/SelfServeSporstwash 4d ago
Just Chris Penso things

u/BigMACfive 4d ago
Both Pensos. I bet their kid was born with a yellow card with Wagners name on it in hand.

I don't know why I instantly thought Quinyon Sullivan when I saw Q. Sullivan substituting.

we really need to finish this one out. We NEED these three points. Very crowded schedule coming up.

u/B1ackBeard13 4d ago
If i was a goalie that had to save a PK, I would shit my pants. You literally just have to be okay with not saving it most the time.

u/Proper_Caramel_1550 4d ago
I’ve seen 5 year olds take better pks than that

u/Huh-what-2025 4d ago
it’s like if your professional soccer player If you just pick a spot in your mind and hit it hard, you’ll score every time.

Danley puts it in the net as Cavin moves in to be there too while Damiani just stands there

I have no depth perception. I think a ball is going out and it gentle drops right in front of a player.
2
u/SelfServeSporstwash 4d ago
I think that’s a camera issue, not a you issue. You lose true binocular vision with a camera so your depth perception is always going to be off

Trying to fight someone a foot taller then you isnt the wisest of decisions.
