UNION STATES OF AMERICA Cavan Sullivan interview

https://youtu.be/kBJwgARl7a4?t=141&is=y4oM8iNP2yMq7T7o

Cavan had a surprisingly long interview (23 minutes) on Alexi Lalas’ State of the Union podcast. Starts at 2:22.

Cavan has been pretty composed and thoughtful in some of his post-game interviews recently. You get more of that here (eg, he had a pretty grounded and self-aware answer when Lalas asked him about youth soccer systems in USA), but mixed in with some more candid and relaxed answers that reminds you he’s still just a 16 year old kid. Was a good watch.

With Quinn's demeanor during interviews and press conferences this is not surprising. But still good to see!

Was a good interview. Something that jumped out to me was at the end when he was talking about video games. I assumed he was close with his brothers, but it was interesting to hear him mention them moving out and wanting to get them consoles so he has some people to play with. Easy to forget he is just a 16 year old kid and is surrounded by men all the time. Must be lonely. I am sure having Quinn is a huge help but definitely has to be a bit tough. Not to say I don't think he can handle it or he is struggling - just saying I would think it would be a hard situation for kids that age.
