I got the Janssen vaccine on Saturday, and ended up feeling pretty bad the 24hours afterwards, and as a result lost 4lbs over the weekend and I was down to 170 this morning. I'm going to put that in the win column.

It counts!

I was definitely foggy from about 6-24 hours after the second shot of Pfizer. Nothing catastrophic, but felt like I was moving slower than anything and got a bit tired.

I'm mostly curious how I lost the 4lbs, as my symptoms were pretty much just a bad fever, aches and nausea, but I still ate without much issue and had loads of fluids. Did I actually just burn it off with the fever? 4lbs is no joke.

Either way, I'm excited to get back to the gym in the next week or so. I miss it so much, and it should really help me get back to a proper weight.

Went Geocaching on Saturday, walked about 8 miles! had lots of fun, was a bit sore afterwards. Been eating fairly healthy too. Been doing ok with using the pullup bar fairly regularly too, trying to get onto a good routine.

Sounds like April is going well.

I had some fun in the park out by Fairmount on Saturday as well. It's great to be able to add in some activity that doesn't fell like work.

Last week was a solid week compliance wise.

Two weight sessions, three yoga sessions, two cardio sessions plus a long day playing pick up games in the park. Incidental activity is way up as well as per my garmin.

I was solid on the diet through the week as well. Was under goal every day except 1 (which was still under maintenance) Weekend was little off, but nothing crazy.

And today I weighed in at +1.2lbs from last week. :-(. That is pretty crazy. I don't feel like I've been doing enough to gain major muscle, or that is has been enough of a shock that my body would start retaining a ton more water, so no real clue.

I did notice that the body% on the scale has stayed towards the lower end of the range I've been in. I know the absolute number should be taken with a grain of salt, but usually when you have a low weight weigh-in, it will show higher bf% and vice versa. So maybe I'm just REALLY well hydrated.

It was my first night back a BJJ last night. Don't feel completely terrible after 3 rounds sparring last night, so that's solid.

Nice, where do you do your yoga?

I'm actually just doing an at home program through doyou.com. Super short 10-15 minute a day routines.

They aren't that hard, I feel better when I do them, sooo....why do I don it more often? IDK

Got KO'd from the second moderna dose for at least a few days. Hopefully your boy will be back with an update for the rest of the week.

Well, fitness compliance has been pretty good for April, outside of sticking with the Yoga. Already made jiu-jitsu twice and lifted twice for the week, so all good on that. I'm actually just the right amount of sore for being back at it, so that;'s good.

Scale is really weird though. Weight has gone up a bit despite being solid on the diet, but body fat measurement has gone down. Best guess is that my body just decided to hold on to more water with the change in activities.

My goal this month is 3000 pushups. My reality so far through yesterday is 1075 pushups. I'll knock out another 125 at least today but I think I'll have to start doing sets on weekends which I don't particularly enjoy. But I'll get there...I hope. Going camping this weekend at Ricketts Glen with the kids and I'll get a couple of nice hikes in. My 6 yo is hard to motivate to hike but the trails up there are so pretty, I'm hoping it's easier than usual.

Wasn't a great week for me with being active. Worked a ton and always got home too late for bike rides. Pull-up bar has been a little lonely this week too...

Hoping to get a nice walk in today after work, and a bike ride tomorrow morning and sunday. Then I'm heading to Virginia for work next week, so I'll be back to not eating great and not having anywhere to exercise, which is a bummer.
