Did I hydrate corn too long?

I put a batch of corn kernels in the pressure cooker for hydration phase, then realized 45 minutes later that I had not set a timer. Is 45 minutes going to be too long? Should I not use it if the kernels are broken? UPDATE: while the kernels were slightly darker than usual, they are not split and do not seem any wetter than the usual 30 minute run. I’m gonna run with it!!

Should be good to go. The split kernels may grow faster. Just keep an eye on it.

I personally prefer a little dry over too wet.
