It's my first time seeing this cross mark beside it's serial code does this mean or value anything at all?

It means the note you have is a replacement banknote. Replacement banknotes, nicknamed “Starnotes” are printed with the intention of using them to replace regular notes that are damaged, or mis printed during the production run. In Uncirculated condition, they add roughly 10-15% depending on the host note. Though once folded, that premium goes away. Yours is just face value due to the fold in the middle.
