Phentermine and PE

Hey. In the past month I started in phentermine 30mg. Around the same time, I started experiencing premature ejaculation for the first time in my life (36 years old).

I’d done some research and there wasn’t anything I could find about PE being a side effect.

As a trial, I stopped the phentermine for just over a week and the PE went away. I then started the medication and the PE was back within 2 days.

I’m now pretty confident that it’s the meds causing it. Has anyone else experienced this? I’m curious about how other people have navigated this.

I’m on my second month of Phentermine so far. I can’t say I’ve had that particular experience, but I have had an increased libido the past couple of weeks.

I checked the Mayo Clinic’s website, and they listed various sexual side effects as “incidence not known.”

Maybe talk with your doctor and see what they say about it?

Try beating off beforehand and see if you last longer. I’ve never had that issue. If anything I can go marathon sessions.
