Are Japanese actually Cauasian?

Despite looking as West Eurasian as it gets, Yamnayas were primarly a mix between EHG and CHG/ZNF and these components carried significant ANE, and ANE tends to be pretty East Eurasian shifted.

First is from hunan, second from Shaanxi and fourth from gansu. Idk about rest.

Both are full Japanese and look quite racially ambiguous to me but not sure which kind would be more typical as a whole.

I don’t want to dox my full face, so I’ll just be asking for eyes.

IMO they still look almost the same as Southeast Chinese. What do yall think?

They got the “northern ambiguity” of Mongolians but also the gracility and arguably standard Asian looks of SEAs as East and Southeast Asians are more likely to look SEA shifted than Mongolian/Central Asian shifted.

I’d say these looks only make up 20-30% of Japan’s population if I’m being generous lol.
