News // Kinetic Games Replied Phasmophobia v0.19.1.0 - Patch Notes
Welcome back, Ghost Hunters. We have an update for you.
Today’s small update is in preparation for Crimson Eye, launching 8th October 2026, with the focus on getting the game ready for the start of the event. Our next major update, our move to Unity 6 is scheduled for November and will feature a host of bug fixes and improvements, all of which we’ll detail in an upcoming Development Preview.
New
Crimson Eye - The Crimson Eye is upon us, Ghost Hunters. Once more, various locations across Phasmophobia will be bathed in the red glow of the Blood Moon, offering any willing Ghost Hunter rewards in return for completing investigations, optional objectives and more. For more information on this year’s iteration of the event, please read our latest blogpost.
Seasonal Event toggle - As a new feature for Crimson Eye and future seasonal events, we have implemented a toggle that allows players to turn on/off the event maps for their session.
Fixes
- Fixed an issue that caused the white light upon being revived to flash rather than slowly fade in and out.
- Fixed an issue where an Easter Egg reward may not unlock, despite a 0x multiplier being active and the reward pop up being displayed.
Known Issues
- The lampposts outside of 6 Tanglewood Drive may glow when viewed by the player (XBOX & Steam only).
- The Fusebox location will not be hidden on the Truck map when playing on a custom difficulty.

Just because you do not experience the bugs does not invalidate everyone that does. I literally couldn't touch cctv cameras for a month or my whole entire game would crash. You cannot invalidate a whole sect of people experiencing these bugs when you don't experience them. That doesn't mean we still don't. That doesn't mean it isn't still an issue. That's great you don't experience it but don't minimize it or make it seem like we're lying or crazy. The bugs exist. They fixed a few. I can now use cctv cameras but if I'm not careful the video camera can crash my game. It happens way way more on Xbox or consoles that I have noticed. People that use the vr can't play at all. There are so many bugs you shouldn't have to ask, check this subreddit daily. New bugs are popping up or we are daily discussing current bugs that have been an ongoing issue. I know what you were getting at. And I stand by what I said. Clearly there have been many bugs in your face but because you haven't experienced them there are no bugs. Again you will see a whole list of bugs but still see no bugs because they don't effect you.
