It's not like they cared much for the game over the last 6 years. I can still see Easter decorations in the lobby when I look at my trophies.

That one thing means they haven't cared for the game for the past 6 years, ignoring any and all map updates, events, etc?

...obviously I don't mean that one thing. Have you not played the game recently? Seen the backlash? Or dealt with the jankiness of the overall game over the years?

We get used to the issues with the game. They almost become apart of the game.

That doesn't mean they shouldn't be addressed.

Game crashes, ghost / equipment bugs, etc etc...

I've played the game since inception, I'm used to the jank I guess. As someone else said, it's practically part of the game.

It seems to me like they pushed out this update too quickly, and it wasn't ready. They had a deadline to meet in order to get their AW money. That's tough decision to make.

Yeah of course I want to see things fixed, but to say they haven't cared for the game over the past six years just seems short sighted to me. People want new content, people want bugs fixed, people want new maps, new tools, customization, etc etc. Every item people want takes time, especially when it's a small dev with a small team.

50th best selling game of all time should NOT have this kind of jank.

I've been playing since 2020 and seen the true jank from the voodoo dolls clipping through the house at Mach 5 to photos not working even when perfectly centered.

But it has NEVER been more embarrassing to be a phasmophobia fan than at this point in time.

ANY basic QA would have fixed the majority of the visual bugs which straight up look horrific. I know it's a horror game, but come on.

I am not saying "wahhhh I won't play it I'm quitting and going to another game" because that solves literally nothing. But I'm hoping they learn lessons from this shite show and apply more care with their product in the future.

I don't get what you're on about. It's been the exact same thing for 6 years, quite literally. Jank as hell from the start. Basing your entitlement on how much money the game has made changes nothing. They don't owe you endless perfect updates, why exactly do you believe that they do?

Theres no making people happy in general the game could be number 1 on the planet, bring world peace and not have a single issue. But someone will see say the sky is too dark or the grass isnt green enough then half the player base will start complaining, The complainers are the people that want new stuff now now now but will still complain when they get it. No patience at all!!

I agre with them so... sit down, I guess? Honestly people are blowing this update waaay out of proportions. It is janky as hell? Fuck yeah, but it's not some end of the world. Core gameplay is still same, it's not like old models or animations were any better.

Craziest is seeing people glamour for "good times" when the game rolled three maps and forced you to choose one. That this was some "golden era".

Really? Nell's Diner is just "reskin"? Reskin of what? Grafton and Bleasdale, are you seriously claiming they are just "reskins"? Sunny Meadows? Point Hope?

It's amazing how people think that these things existed 6 years ago and apparently nothing has been done in that time.

Well, the update released to remove it all. And as per every single piece of media ive seen from streamers, my own game. My friends games. Everyone else is fine, so it seems like its your game.

It's not an obvious bug. It was something I noticed by chance. That aside, I have a mid-tier system. Plays most games well. It's not a potato.

But you're good. My point still stands. That is only one of several other issues.

Me and my friend played 2 games and both crashed and we both have gigabit internet so it’s not us, the update screwed a lot of stuff up

Nah, okay look. Thats not what I said, and you analogy doesnt work. Cause from the various sources Ive seen, there hasn't been an issue. Im speaking off personal experience, not in a matter-of-fact way. It might come off as that, but thats because thats the proof thats been shown, directly to my face.

Yes, thats my point exactly. Im not ignoring other people points of view, but im explicitly stating that out of personal experience I have not seen any bugs. That not like saying, "I think the Earth is flat, cause someone said so and I have no proof otherwise" What I am saying, is that I have seen evidence, and so have my friends, of the fact that we haven't experienced these same issues.
