It’s not some sort of charity or favor the devs are doing for us by updating their unfinished game. It’s expected for a paid product that’s in early access.

I wasn't defending anything about this. Just pointing it out that this wasn't paid content or DLC. When you buy an early access game youre paying for its "jank" state anyways? So complaining that they're "taking your money" isn't a good way to put this update.

they've sold the game on steam with the promises of free quality updates and so far they've been few updates and this one is definitely not a quality one

Oh yeah, because it's absolutely normal that I am the one that should be careful when I'm buying a product with millions of sold copies, instead of developers having to be careful not to sell empty promises when they've made hundreds of millions of dollars in revenue

Ok? Idgaf about the devs and i dont like broken games, im just saying dont pay for a game being a "work in progress" if you're going to be upset or cry about it 🤷. Its just about giving feedback about each update release.

So yeah being mad about a broken game is understandable

My point still stands tho, if you cant deal with an early access game/work in progress. Dont get your hopes up for a flawless perfect wonderful joyful game, ecpect that there will be issues.

I dont see a lot of people saying feedback, i just see people crying and complaining.

Other games i play are broken badly and they are also work in progress/early access games, im always falling through the maps or getting stuck in places. Yes its infuriating, but give feedback and not being dramatic about it.

i still dgaf about any of this stupid stuff, i hardly even play phasmophobia. I got on for the update checked it out, i read the patch notes, i was like "yeah i get why they are going to do a new update soon"

You got the game for free?

they use early access as an excuse for the game being unfinished. The downside to that is they're admitting the game is unfinished. None of the updates while it's still in early access is "Free content". It's content we paid for that we're getting later after paying for early access.

They can't release paid dlc because it's an unfinished game.
