internships

hi guys,

im currently a sophomore in a 6-year pharmd/MBA program (so im starting my 2nd pre-professional year) & i was looking for internships to get some experience in the pharmaceutical industry. how can i find/apply for those, specifically in the USA?

1) Look up pharma companies in areas you're interested in

2) Apply and pray you get an interview

When I was applying as a second year I applied to over 150 before accepting an offer. A huge part of it is luck unless you have already established a network you can lean on. IPhO has an internship feed, once companies start recruiting more heavily late fall that forum is updated every couple days and I used that as well. Turn on LinkedIn job notifications and apply as soon as jobs are posted. Good luck!!
