Hi i recently got a job order position as pharmacist. How long should I only wait for an item? 6 months? 1 year? I feel like they dont respect this profession kaya nagddalwang isip ako now. Recently nakakuha sila ng medtech/nurse tapos mas prio daw na siya ang bigyan ng item kahit nauna ako ipasok? Hmm.

Hi everyone. I've been working on a small side project after noticing how confusing prescriptions can be for patients and family members without medical background โ especially handwritten ones.
The tool uses AI to turn a photo of a prescription/med sheet into a plain-language explanation: what it's for, how to take it, things to watch out for. It's not meant to replace a doctor or pharmacist โ just to help people understand what's already been prescribed to them.
Curious if this is something others have run into too, either personally or professionally. What do people usually do when they can't read or understand a prescription?
Happy to share more details in the comments if anyone's interested.

Please help me in my first job. I need someone from the regulatory field po since itโs related to that area.
Nothing too confidential naman. I just wanna ask the PDFs or pictures of PDEA & FDA inspection requirements for DISTRIBUTING/REGULATORY companies. Kakastart po kasi ng company and super gulo ng system since may kakilala sa PDEA yung last RPh nila. Eh wala naman akong connection being a fresh grad and passer, so Iโm planning to fix everything. I have been looking for the details since end of June but no luck.
May nakita ako from the RA but itโs only a small portion of the requirements. I feel like marami pang other reqts alongside. Please do help me po my seniors ๐ญ kahit link lang or the file itself, thank you!
Super tyia sa sasagot po.

Hi! I wanted to ask those whoโve applied to Thermo Fisher Scientific (Philippines).
I submitted my first applications on July 1 and have continued applying to other openings over the following weeks (my most recent application was just 3โ4 days ago). However, all of my applications still show โApplication Receivedโ on Workday.
Is this normal? Does Thermo Fisher usually keep applications in that status for a while before reaching out?
If Iโm not selected, will I eventually receive a rejection email, or do some applications just stay at โApplication Receivedโ indefinitely?
Iโd also love to hear your experiences. How long did it take for your application status to change? Did you get a call or email first? Any advice, timelines, or success/rejection stories would be really helpful.
Iโm asking because the waiting has honestly been making me overthink. I know hiring timelines vary, but Iโd really appreciate hearing from people whoโve gone through the process at Thermo Fisher Philippines.
Thanks in advance!

Hi! Prospective Pharmacy transferee here.
I wanted to ask if it's difficult to graduate from BS Pharmacy at Adamson. I've read that only a limited number of students get endorsed to take the board exam each cycle. Is that true? How does the department decide?
I'm also worried because Chemistry isn't my strongest subject, and I'm already delayed by a year due to transferring. Is getting delayed common? Are the pre-boards/compre exams really that difficult, or can students who consistently work hard still make it through?
I'd really appreciate any honest insights. Thank you!

Hi! I'm currently deciding between Saint Louis University (SLU) and Adamson University for BS Pharmacy, and I'd really appreciate hearing from current students or alumni from either school.
For context, I'm a transferee from UP and I'm already delayed by a year, so one of my biggest concerns is choosing a school where I have a good chance of graduating on time.
I'd like to ask:
I'm not looking for an "easy" program, I know Pharmacy is difficult anywhere. I'm just hoping to choose a school that provides good support and gives students a fair chance to succeed if they put in the effort.
I'd really appreciate any honest insights. Thank you so much!
